Joe's Spuckies is a pre-War restaurant specializing in sandwiches. They offered a "meatball 'Spuckie' and a large tonic" for 55 dollars and also did catering for events. "Spuckie" is an outdated term used predominantly by Italians in South Boston, referring to a sub sandwich.
